 The Crisis Center is the only domestic violence shelter of its kind  within a  fifty mile radius providing emergency shelter for women and children plus  a 24 hr.crisis hotline available to our mountain communities.  

The Crisis Center is in need of a new “home” and Barbara has helped them locate an ideal property.  The former donated location is no longer available and the situation has become urgent.  She works hard to help the Center in any way she can, and is passionate about   fundraising for the “Sheltering Hope Capitol Campaign” to purchase building  and  donates each time she has a closing.   “ This is” our shelter”  yours and mine  and  such  an important service to our community.. .
